YHPM. Sorry I missed this originally, then haven't been to FT since New York. Could have sent one from the UN our last day after BRT.
(they had one of the handgun with the knot in the barrel promoting anti-gun violence that she may have liked; sorry)
I love to send postcards and would be happy to add Cheryl to my 'list.'^

Cheryl says thank you FTers!
I spoke with Cheryl last night & she wanted me to say thanks to all the FTers who have been spending postcards. She said "FTers go to some interesting places". She's been taping the postcards to the archway of one of the main doors inside her home (kinda like some people do w/ holiday cards), so that when she goes through it each day she's cheered up.
Thank you so much for sending cards to her c/o me. Since her treatment goes through next April I've been spacing out sending them to her, so she'll have something fun/bright/cheery in the mail each week.
Cheers.

Just wanted to once again say thanks so much for the postcards. Cheryl really appreciates them, and all of the kind, warm, supportive thoughts from FTers. BTW - don't tell her, but I'm having fun seeing the pics/reading the notes too, before I forward them to her
And a special thanks to the UA pilot & first officer who sent their biz cards w/ a nice note to Cheryl written on the other side. She does hope to be in the 'friendly skies' in the hopefully not too distant future.
Holey moley - as I'm typing this an earthquake is hitting.
Gotta go! Cheers.

In addition to all the FTers who are sending postcards from places near & far, a special thank you to Julianne who sent me a note with some additional UA captain biz cards w/ notes to Cheryl. The letter said she thought it would be fun to collect cards from pilots & crew for Cheryl, and she's trying for around the world.
So in addition to the postcards getting taped in the door archways, Cheryl's taping the pilots cards. Wouldn't it be fun when she recovers if she was on a UA flight & the captain was one of those who wrote her a note?!
Cheers.

Seeing I am always slack with paperwork, and seeing the treatment goes until April, I am safe with my laziness so far.
My appallingly messy office area is shown below, so Sharon will understand when I say the postcards "are somewhere on my desk"!

).And thanks to the others who have - and some who continue - to send cards. Cheryl appreciates them very much. I think she saves them to look at on her return from her weekly chemo.
Since Cheryl's treatment goes through next April I'm spacing them out, and she receives a couple a week.
Again, many thanks for the postcards from locales near & far.
Cheers.

kipper, I returned home from AMS yesterday to find the CMP mug in the mail. I'm forwarding it on to Cheryl along w/ the postcard. I know she'll be delighted (as only someone who shoots guns can be
).
