No to wine in NYC this weekend only. I simply do not want to fly the other half of a RTW award. There is still plenty of wine on the wall for the next ANC (MINI) DO ;) :cool:

Unfortunately I'm only at ANC until 7 this Friday, and I've already got plans next Tuesday. However, I'm in Anchorage until 7/27, and I work at ANC, so I'm definitely up for meeting folks on- or off-airport while I'm here. (Still no car, though.)

I'm stuck in HNL for at least two more weeks. It might be longer depending on how bad some folks screw up a server/data migration plan. :rolleyes:

:eek: Just dawned on me--I've already bought tickets for The Fellowship Of The Ring: Extended Edition showing at Regal at Tikhatnu Commons on 6/7. The film starts at 7pm and ends many hours later (it is the extended edition, after all), so I guess I'm out. :(

We know this all too well, thanks to beckoa's ubiquitous double (and sometimes triple :p) posts all over the Alaska forum. Y'all should get a real phone that can handle the full (non-WAP) site. :p

My friend Bill sent me a link to a revival of the Whale Fat
Follies. I'm sorely tempted; Mr. Whitekeys also
appears at the state fair (the one where I was thrown
out of the bar) on Sept. 7. Anyone interested? I'm
thinking of July 11, an August date, or the fair.
