Stage Deli Lunch NYC June 22nd 2008

DATE CHANGE:

We originally though that we would be in NYC for my birthday, but it looks like there are too many birthday weekend activities here in Seattle so we have change the date to the Brooklyn Tour Weekend.

How about lunch on Sunday the 22nd instead? Same time, 11:30, and same place, The Stage Deli. And, of course, for me, the same Pastrami Reuben.

Let me know if you can join us.

Back to the originally scheduled post:
My Doc lets says that it is cool if I have a Pastrami Rueben at The State Deli in NYC once a year. So this year it will be on June 7th at 11:30 a.m.

If you would like to join us you are most welcome.

I'll be getting ready to board a UA transcon at that time. LAX >>> NYC.

Put me in for a strong maybe...I'm coming in on a redeye that morning but should be good to go. Punki, have you been to Katz' before? I love me a Dolly Parton "all the way" as much as the next guy, but the Pastrami and a Dr Browns at Katz is to die for

Oh, dhammer53, I am so sorry we will miss you. Enjoy your trip. ^

I am delighted, cstead, that we will get to see you again.

I have been to Katz and it is wonderful, but it is sort of a tradition to have a Pastrami Reuben at The Stage Deli. Now it is called "The Tiger Woods". It used to be called something else, but I don't remember what.

What time would be best to meet? I was thinking either earlier than noon or later than noon as it gets kind of busy on a Saturday.

We just realized that we have way too much going on here in Seattle over my birthday weekend.

This morning I changed our flight to the weekend of the 19th, so maybe we will get to see some the Brooklyn tour people in addition to getting a pastrami Reuben.

Punki, are you rescheduling for the weekend of the 19th, or is this on hold? As luck has it, I'll be in town that weekend too, if you're still up for some pastrami at Stage

Yes, we already rebooked our flight to arrive on the 19th and leave on the 22nd. We still haven't booked hotels or thought about what we are going to do when we get there, but I would love to hook up, maybe Sunday at lunch at the Stage?
