Seattle Mini-Do, Saturday May 10
Folks,
We don't have anything specific planned yet, but I and a couple of Flyertalk friends will be flying into SEA on mileage runs. We all arive by 1 PM and don't have to return to the airport until sometime after 11 PM. And we have some Seattle Flyertalk friends that would like to meet us for dinner and perhaps also a Boeing tour or... [you fill in the blank]
I'll let the others coming post for themselves as they get around to it (some are infrequent posters), but wanted to get a placeholder here in CommunityBuzz and see if others want to join in and suggest dining places and/or an afternoon activity.
Cheers,
Griz

Locals, are welcome, and if you want to suggest different activities or ideas for dinner, now is the time!

I am spending Friday night in Seattle (Currently at the Westin unless I can pick something up cheaper on Priceline), I can meet up with you guys sometime downtown for the walking tour, etc. Robert has my cell phone number.
I believe the Worldclub closes at 5:30 pm, but I know there is a Continental President's Club that we can takeover which is open until 12:30am. (I am on the 12:40 am back to MSP).

What is everyone's situation on club membership? I may purchase a 60-day World Club pass if needed, but if someone can guest me, I'll hold off on that.

Ha! I forgot to add:
1. No durian
2. No stinky tofu

Anything else is fair game.

The Seattle walk lady can't take another tour on Saturday - too bad, she sounds delightful!
She recommends we use her book as a guide:
http://www.amazon.com/6-Seattle-Walk...0118996&sr=8-1
I called the Borders Bookstore at SEA-TAC, they will have a copy on hold for us to pick up on Saturday. Cost is $9 + tax. New tour price with highly unprofessional guide reading from a book is $2.50 or a free drink.

Bumping to see if there is anyone else interested.
I'm pretty sure RustingInSeattle will at least join us for dinner, but he's been swamped at work so I haven't heard from him for a few days. I'll try to reach him Friday evening to reconfirm.
Sorry I couldn't line up the genuine tour guide for the walking tour, but I'm sure we'll have fun any way.
