Question Open That Bottle Night Plans?

Does anyone have special plans for this year's Open That Bottle Night? It's scheduled for tomorrow, February 23.

We're going out to dinner with friends at a place that allows BYO.
I'll continue to agonize until 1800 tomorrow. I have a few bottles that I'm anxious to open. All I have to do is pick one.

Doing it tonight (1995 Far Niente Cab and 1991 Simi Reserve Cab), since I'll be on AA 84 to FRA tomorrow night, and will let the FA 'open that bottle' of 2000 Clos Du Val Cab. Not exactly what I would have chosen, but when a 'captive' audience...

Having two to three dozen people over for an OTBN party tomorrow.

It also falls nicely as my birthday was Thursday, Aggie Girl's birthday was Wednesday and she's in town visiting, and my boyfriend's best friend's birthday was also Wednesday.

First "decent" party in the new house... I'm still in the process of picking out a few bottles but everyone attending is either bringing a dessert or a bottle.

We planned to have a couple of friends over for OTBN, but learned this morning that that the illness of one of them will force a postponement.

Mrs. Middle_Seat and I will probably break out a bottle ourselves this evening, not wanting to miss the "official" occasion.

LOL!!

Maybe you can negotiate a corkage fee (i.e. share a glass) with the FA and bring something tastier?

We are planning to have an OTB night party down here in So. Fla. in honor of our distinguished guest BOB W from ANC, that renowned member of about five of the wine clubs in Washington State and owner of a 500 bottle garage (don't ask).

I'm not really a wine person, but I think I will invite a bunch of people over for some drinks. I do have a bottle conditioned 750ml of Victory Golden Monkey (Belgian style Tripel),bottled Oct '07 and Victory VTwelve (Belgian style Quadrupel) bottled Feb 08. Maybe I'll finish one or both of those off.

For Me!?!?! I'm flattered. I'll see what I can find that can safely make the trek south. The '05 Col Solare is young but drinking very well.

This year I'll probably just open something nice and simple. Patz & Hall 2005 Hyde Vineyards Pinot Noir or something like that.
