MCI BBQ DO III-May 2nd-4th, 2008

Friday, April 4 is a First Friday celebration down in the KC Freight House /Art District and will kick off with BBQ at Fiorella's Jack STack BBQ. We will meet for drinks at 5pm outside at City Tavern which is two doors down from the Jack Stack.

Saturday is the piece de resistance with a BBQ tour like no other---some of the stops---Oklahoma Joe's (a FT favorite), LC's( a fave from last year), Gates or Bryant's are always possible. Any way you slice it...it will be about good company and good BBQ.
I look forward to hosting this event and hope that it will be the best BBQ Do yet!!

Sunday--Still up in the air. If everyone would like a brunch we can definitely plan one as there are quite a few good places on the Plaza.

bummer here too.. April is a bit too early in the year for me.. too much going on.. btw, isn't it still freezing in MCI at this time of year

Actually, early April is usually in the 60's and lows in the 50's. Its quite nice although there is always a chance of rain.

Crap!! I tried to make that the BBQ DO didn't coincide with any other DO's. I giess I messed that up. If we have enough people who would rather come on the first weekend in May, I'd be willing to change the dates.
