DC Dinner January 17th

I'm in town for a seminar and it would be great to have dinner with DC locals (or anyone else who happens to be around). I'm staying at the Westin Grand, so someplace near-ish (or metro accessible) would be great. Let me know if you're game!

I should be able to make it if you keep it in the city.

It would be great to see you! As long as it's someplace I can get to, I'll be happy to go wherever you think sounds good.

After a few PMs I think we're going to go with Rosa Mexicano (we tried it at a dinner outing last spring and it was yummy).

I'll make reservations...let me know what time you're thinking. My day ends relatively early, so I'm ok with pretty much any time.

Ok, slight change of plans. With it being restaurant week, I couldn't get reservations at Rosa Mexicana, but was able to get them at The Oceanaire Seafood Room. They're also participating in restaurant week so I'm told that means great food for a reasonable cost. I'm holding a table for 10 for now.

It's a good thing if they are participating in Restaurant Week as it is a rather expensive menu otherwise.

Very true, MA.

Here is some info on restaurant week. The basic deal is that restaurants that participate offer a 3 course set menu for 30.08 (which sounds like a great deal for what the menu prices usually are).
