Shanghai "Mini Do"?
I was based in Shanghai for 6 years and now moved back home to HNL but have another business trip to Shanghai in Oct 17-30 2007.
Just putting the feeler out for people that maybe interested in a mini-do during the above stated time.
Westin's got a great Sunday champagne brunch (very reasonably priced) and it would be great to meet some fellow FT-ers. I'll organize if anyone out there is interested in meeting up either at the brunch or somewhere for dinner/drinks.
Looking forward to meeting some of you!!

FWIW, the price of the Westin's brunch has climbed up steadily during the years since I was an avid brunch goer (it's no longer a great value compared to the Portman, 4 Seasons, Radisson, Shangri-La, etc).

True. The prices have gone up over the years but my friends & I still prefer Westin over others for Sunday brunch. Tried quite a few others in Shanghai. For about US$65, there is still free flow champagne, wine and variety of other alcohol available - not to mention the extensive spread of seafood and other stuff
Anyway, it's just an option.
