Tis a shame you just missed the very popular EDI FT Gathering 2007 earlier this month. As organiser and resident, now disgraced and banished from this fair city, I shall be enjoying this coming long weekend in Poland.

There is a strong FT community in Edinburgh - many a friendly face would be more than happy to join you for a drink and bite to eat providing, of course they are free.

Indeed - but unfortunately this other one is also away - in LHR, so not so glamorous as Prospero.
