I am so surprised we have so many yungins here. I really thought most people were in thier 40's.
I am 48 and I think I am intermediate to advanced. I know many things, thanks to FT, but I don't usually have to put the difficult stuff to work. I have saved a fortune and become elite because of FT. I owe it big time.

Its probably because us yungings are more used to the internet/forum thing - my father travels a ton, works in IT, and would have no clue about this site. That, and us yungings have less money and are trying to maximize our limited vacation days (2 weeks cough cough.. time to move to europe)

Speaking of young FlyerTalkers reminds me of one of my all-time favorite posts, written by the youngest and possibley the smartest FlyerTalker ever.
You can find the charming twiz's post here.
For those of you who don't remember twiz, he is letiole's brilliant son, who conducted the airplane water experiments and I believe ended up on national televisions discussing his experiements.
He was ten years-old when he made the above-referenced post. ^

64. Intermediate sinking to novice. I seldom travel for business any more. Took a cushy R&D job after doing my bit for 9/11. After two years out of DOD I'm getting my health back. But points and status have burned away. Good scuba locations seldom have prestige hotels or are served by major airlines.

I guess that makes me 33! (Or I take my 3 year old's age and I was exactly two weeks shy of my 30th birthday!)
Advance for a SAHM (Stay at Home Mom), who happens to have status on airlines and hotels!!!
Pretty sad at the PHX airport when we were able to get better seats on the plane because our 3 y.o. had more status than anyone else on the plane!!! Actually our 1 y.o. probably did too!
