Alternatively, we are going to be several days on the Big Island (5/17-21), then Kauai (5/22-28) in convenient locations, so would love to catch up at our place or anywhere worth visiting.

(Yes, I still have to book an open jaw to get to BI then Kauai, or buy some $19 fares, if they are still there! Still need to work out where to stay in Hilo or VNP/VV too!)

Fire at DO location!

As reported by KITV this evening, Fire in the kitchen of the Top of Waikiki. The Chefs and the fire extinguishing system put the fire out. "As the fire moved into the exhaust fan system, chefs used fire extinguishers to put out the blaze. it was nearly out when firefighters arrived on scene."

Ho brah! Look what happens: I go Vegas for 4 days, and the chefs at Top of Waikiki get so excited about our upcoming BiziBB Honolulu DO-lu that the almost burn the place down! I'm sure everything will be back to normal by May 29th!
