Welcome to the club. It's always good to welcome a fellow Canadian especially since it'll be easier for you to remit the monthly dues to me in Canadian Dollars.
Shouldn't he be paying you in Canadian Club instead?

Are you sure about that? I didn't even know that. Is that allowed?

They're joking/kidding around

Evidently I'm now on the Legend list having crossed the 40,000 mark, but it will still take $5 + the title to get a coffee at Starbucks

Cheers.

You've always been a legend, Sharon, but welcome to the club.

Sam, self inducting at 40,734. (unless you were updating someone else?)

35,000 to go for me. Certainly my demise will come much sooner.

I get the strange feeling that I heard something very similar to this earlier this evening...

Canarsie, as I will be returning from 9 days in LAS, I obviously won't be able to afford Starbucks, but I will be happy to buy you a coffee at Waffle House during my stay in ATL in January.

(I am, of course, lowering myself in doing so for someone who is not a Legend, but noblesse oblige).

That is very generous of you especially as you know that I do not drink coffee but thank you...

I admit that I forgot that you do not drink coffee. I do know, however, that you don't drink booze so I will also offer to buy you any cocktails that you want.

With your logic, I thought you were going to offer to buy me an Irish coffee...

...and if we keep up with this exchange of levity, I will eventually qualify for this discussion.

I do not like having posted 22,069 times — let alone 40,000...
