Too bad I can't make it tomorrow night, or I'd offer you a ride, MapleLeaf. I'm practically around the corner from you...

For 6K or so Hyatt Points and a FFN credit I guess?

Anyway it seems that I am going to be around LA tomorrow so I am most likely show up.

Had to save my stomach and money for tonight by having a "lunch" consisting of 4 bite-sized sponge cakes. Definitely will be looking forward to dinner!

"No great thing in life comes without sacrifice."

It will be worth your brave efforts! See ya' this evening!

FYI everyone, as of this morning, I've been told that:
Our group is being given a cool large booth kind of thing (haven't seen it yet, just what the person from Petro's told me this a.m., sounded ideal for our needs) near the back of the restauarnt.

Well I took 1 photo & then the film rewound - grrr. But EdisonCarter took a few; maybe he'll post a link.

Lots of fun last night - great seeing everyone - and how 'cozy' it was at both the restaurant & bar afterwards - LOL. We had ressies for 10 & ended up w/ 16 people.

Thanks to redhead for sorting out the tab for everyone at restaurant & bar. I hate that part & she did it so well

Cheers.

GREAT seeing everyone last night!
The food was, as always, AWESOME!
Great to meet several new faces, put faces with "known" handles, and re-connect w/ old friends as well. After a fantastic day today in the sun & sand, it's back to the snow here.

Kudos to Aliceinsantamonica for a great "tour" Friday night, & as sharon said, to rehead for her fine accounting work.

I think we should do this again, eh? Greek at the Beach II Anyone??
(we'll definitely plan on a res. w/ larger numbers to better accomodate the last minute add-ins ..no worries)

It was nice to meet you all last night over some food and drinks.

How late you were at the MB "dive" bar?

We arrived late, so sorry we were not able to sit with the main group and meet/catch up with everyone. It sounds like everyone enjoyed themselves. Special thanks to auh2o and wingless for keeping us company at the bar (and, in wingless' defense, the lamb special was very, very good)
