Oops... I'm off the list. Returning from an MR that night... into SNA of all things.

Bon appetit!

For those confirmed, what do you all feel like eating? There's a number of options and if we can get some basic requirements, I think we can come up with some suggested options...

Of course, wherever we go must serve adult beverages and offer exceptional CS.

CS isn't as much of a priority as tasty adult beverages, to me at least.

Sorry we'll miss you, baglady.

Ok, location selected. We're going to go with Truxton's, since the bunch coming in on the weekend is going for Greek food. Info has been added to the first post.

I just found this thread; put me down as a "maybe" at this point for now and I'll firm up one way or the other next week.

Probably no more than five minutes from the terminals; about a mile or so near the interesections of Manchester and Sepulveda (there's a link to their website in the OP that has a map).

I guess I can move up to a "Yeah, Baby, Yeah!". I get out of class in Santa Monica College at 5ish so I could take the Big Blue Bus down to Manchester and Sepulveda and hopefully be there early.

COOL!! I will do what I can to make it then. Client is farther north but should be out of there by 5 and staying at the Marriott Marina Del Ray (how far is this from restaurant)

And Maple Leaf you best be showing up, I REALLY want to meet you

May be there early also, do they have a bar? Or is there somewhere near the restaurant that is a good place to kill at least an hour (although client might run later than 5).

As the crow flies, not very far (closer than LAX). If traffic is light (yeah, right) its about 10 minutes. Typical rush hour traffic down Lincoln, 15-30 minutes (or more!)

I will try and make it, but I am flying out the next day on a "Beer Run" to London (White Horse Old Ale Festival!) and SWMBO may require my presence that evening

(BTW, some Marina residents are picky -- its Marina del Rey )
