Please don't think this is self-important or arrogant.

But so very many of my friends here have disappeared from the board with no explanation; and I have SO missed them, that I wanted to post an explanation for my lack of participantace here.

As some of you may know, I have been a computer consultant since 1994, and have been here since 1998. But, I haven't been participating very much lately.

So, for all of you, but most especially my closest friends here (Rudi, Catman, etc, etc, etc) I'd just like to update my present situation.

Back in 1984 my family spent almost 4 years in a little 1.2 square mile drop in the ocean known as Kwajalein.

IWell, I have kicked out of the consultant mode and are once more back here on Kwaj. My wife will be joining me next month.

So I won't be frequent flying for a while. It will be a few flights, but very long ones. I will be home at night, I won't be only spending 1.5 nights at home every week, we will be a real family once more...even if it is int he middle of the Pacific Ocean.

I will continue to be here, I will never abandon this lifeline. But I certainly won't be posting as much for a long time.

Thank you, Rudi, thank you Mark, thank you all. You have all made such adifference in our lives. I will still be here, and if there is ever some question that my poor knowledge can ever help with, I will chime in.
