I might not be online tomorrow (or more accurately, on FT). If something changes, all of you have my cell # to let me know. Cheers.

I have never been to one of those LA DO's. Has anyone ever eaten at the Proud Bird? I have driven past it many times. Are these DO's usually in or around LAX?

Bed called. I was up all day doing homework (started my Master's in May) and couldn't fall asleep until about 1530. Since I figured I was in for a 12 hour work day, I didn't feel like getting two hours of sleep, sit in rush hour traffic for an hour just to grab a quick dinner. I was looking forwad to this (I *AM* working way too much) and am sorry to have missed you guys.

Typically. You may seem some SNA or LGB stuff, but a vast majority is held around LAX. We have done the Proud Bird. Somebody should talk television td Tina into organizing another one.

The LA Dos vary, but yes are usually held in the LAX area as that's 'mutually inconvenient (aka, in the middle) for those coming from both the Valley & OC.

Sometimes we do them on weekends to minimize the 'rush hour' aspect, but even then still usually in LAX area for the afore-mentioned reason.

Cheers.

PS - We did Proud Bird for the first time a few months ago. Other places have included a Thai restaurant in Westchester; Pancho's, Beaches, Shark's Cove, & Reed's Restaurant in Manhattan Beach.
