Phoenix - 04/22/06
I'll be in Phoenix for our annual Barbershop (FWD-Division 5) show and competition on Saturday, April 22. I invite any FTers that will be around to meet and enjoy some great music. (There is a charge for the shows, but I do not know what it is. I can find out for anyone interested.)
Choruses and quartets from Arizona, Southern Nevada, and Southern Utah will be performing, including my chorus, the High Country Barbershop Chorus. (I'm in the 2nd row, fourth from the left in the picture on the homepage.)
Where:
For those not aware, Barbershop harmony has a unique sound that is represented by four voice parts: lead, tenor, baritone, and bass. Many think that barbershop harmony is only heard at Disneyland by the Dapper Dans; however, barbershop choruses and quartets are active all over the world.
