The PDX GPGT dinner -- date TBA
I have a confession to make: I love a certain, bizarre, regional fried chicken.
Growing up in li'l old Beaverton, Oregon, as a child of the 70s, a frequent dinner out -- given half a chance -- would be to Fryer Tuck's for chicken and cole slaw and Little John's spuds, the latter being a precursor to the ubiquitous (and gawd awful) Jo-Jo's of gas-station fame in the 80s.
To wit, Delta iDine, in their infinite wisdom, has just added Fryer Tuck's Cedar Mill brewpub to its list of options. (Full disclosure: the Mill venue is not the original, despite the iDine verbiage.) Thusly, it's time to raise a cool, tall one to my childhood icon.
Anyone else game? If so, please generate a response with specifc days of week/dates of noshing-imbibing for the purpose of pinning down a day/time.
