Arrow SFO MacWorld Expo DO - January

Anyone else planning on going to the 2006 Macworld Expo this upcoming January?

I'll be in town Jan. 7 - 11 for the event.

Where's the MacWorld Expo being held? I'll be in SFO Jan 4-11 for the Society of Critical Care Medicine annual meeting at the convention center.

I guess this explains why some of the big hotels are coming unavailable for that weekend. I will be there Jan 5-8 (All day Sunday, returning on the red eye).

My office is about 8 blocks from Moscone; and, being a long-time Mac user, I try to get to MacWorld one of the days to see the exhibits. Would be pleased to join a FT event during the show, if able.

MacWorld Expo Events

My Expo dance card is filling quickly, but keep me posted.

I have a list of Expo related and other SF events for that week going at http://www.macguys.com/expolist.html. A general list of Expo related SF hints and tips is at http://www.macguys.com/expo.html.

Finally, if you're in the exhibit hall on Friday morning, stop by the Apple Consultants Network Technical Assistance Center where I'll be working and stump the chump, or at least say "hey".

Happy Travels,
Dave

JPMorgan also has their annual healthcare equity conference January 9-12 at the Westin St. Francis, another big event. Unfortunately I'm booked solid pretty much 7am-10pm every day during that time.

I used to do MacWorld but don't have to in '06, so will miss this one. There's a restaurant directly across from the Marriott entrance (think the outline of the windows is a dark green; can't remember the name) that might be a good place for you to meet for lunch get-together since Marriott is next to Moscone. I ate there before & food's decent, as are prices. Have fun. Cheers.

I'll be there working at Ovolab (www.ovolab.com) Booth #407 (Moscone South Hall) so if someone wants to come and say hello, you know where I'll be

Cheers
