The All-New Official ANC DOO Thread -- Dec 10

Since Bob W has a son in law leaving for Iraq that weekend, I'm going to take the lead on this...hopefully he'll still be able to join us for some fun. Just a little get together at my place...some wine and some food...and some great company!

Hopefully we'll have some guests from FAI, JNU, and SEA joining us so I'm going to start this event a little early. Let's say 7:00pm and go from there. The late night hot tub fun won't start until well, later. This summer we had a lovely evening together, and if you'll miss out if you don't attend this one...

I'll check for PM's periodically but better to email me at levi*in*alaska@*mac*.com (no spaces in the address...just delete the asterisks) for more information, to accept or decline, or for directions. If you are not in ANC but still would like to attend...send me an email and we'll see what we can do.

Sounds fun! If anyone is coming from Portland, don't forget about the Electronic Cert for 20% off Oregon-Alaska flights, good for purchase thorough 12/3! (EC07705)

OH RATS!!! Im working and will be in Portland on that date. SHOOT!!! I've always been a little nervous about "outing" myself in person, hence I've been shy to attend the SEA-DOO (though I hear Missy does an AMAZING job!) but I think I'm pretty over that now and would love to join in. Figures...

I think I'll actually be in town that day! Provided that doesn't change, I'll be there. You need to call in sick AS Flyer!

Thank you very much, eastwest, for putting this together and for the personal invite. Punki and I would love to join you and maybe go out dancing at Jen's again (that was a blast), but this is the weekend of Dovster's birthday party in Boca Raton and we have been committed to that for months.

We hope to see you again soon in the near future. ^

bummer, I already had made my run plans before this thread was created.

I'm doing a 4 hour turn this Thursday (arriving just after 9pm).

Anyone want to grab a drink at a nearby bar/pub?

Is this still on? I actually forgot my company xmas party is Saturday night. Don't really feel like going though. Someone signed me up for some crazy reason since I didn't reply that I wanted to go. Weird.

I'll be passing through ANC on the 10th about 7:00pm, but don't know if I'll have time to rent a car and get out to your abode, however far that may be from the airport...

Regardless of the success of this little get together, it might be fun to try another ANC-Do with a month or more advance warning. Maybe mid-January sometime?
