I'm on the BA flight to LHR the 24th night...but assuming I'm all packed up, I'd love to crash the party at Tamarind Tree (one of my friends raves about it).

Assuming I don't get tossed out on my ear on Dec 3, I'm pencilled in for the 27th.

(I have cheerfully taken the last two weeks of the year off from travel.)

Neato! I might be able to do all of these, if I don't get shipped off on a trip. I'll come back and update as the dates get closer.

OK! I just booked my flight. Gotta ask my other half tomorrow if 1. he wants to go, 2. if I can go (not really, he let's me do what I want, but still.......)

Christmas eve is our traditional dinner--we do a meat fondue with home-made (or this that now called house-made) sauces.

(And I'm doing a quick LH F trip to see my parents in FRA on Dec 25 returning on the 30 to ORD connecting to MSP to meet other half and his mom to drive her down in her car to PHX for the 3 month snow bird stay.)

So, I'll let you know if it's 0, 1, or 2.

So it'll be me alone. Booked the 7 am out of OAK.

I do have several uestions, though.

1. Should I rent a car or take cab or bus?

2. Where to hang out before noon--malls, etc? Maybe just the board room?

3. Would a 340p dep from SEA be enough time for the lunch? Right now I'm booked on the 5.53p but would prefer not to get home that late.

Thanks!

The express bus from the airport is pretty easy... and cheap. You can take it all the way into downtown and do some malling, and then either bus or cab to the restaurant.

I think a 3:40 departure would be fine. As a Gold you should be able to get through check in without much trouble

Thanks! Changed to the 3:40 dep but decided to just get a car. Whereas I love trains/rapid transit, etc, I'm not really that fond of busses.

I'll see you all there!

D'oh! I'm flying out at 6 AM that morning on my way to EZE. Wish I could join you guys. Thankfully I'll see most of you this weekend at Keg Do though.

So which one of these is the official Second Chance gathering for those of us who missed Keg Do due to an, ah, intestinal bug?
