First Time In USA
I am a Us citizen (dual) who's lived abroad all his life. I just got my US passport & will be making a short trip home(DC) in the coming months.
Can anyone tell me what to expect from immigration at the airport to the city itself? Anyone?

First, welcome to Flyertalk.
Second, what airport are you flying into? If I understand your question, you're asking what to expect between the time you pass through immigration and the time you get to where you're going in DC. Naturally, this will depend on which airport you're flying into...

Welcome to FT! To add to the questions asked above ...
- what airport are you coming into?
- is your question what immigration & customs will be like or what to expect once you pass through those points?
- what would you like to know about dc? are you staying downtown or in the MD/VA suburbs?
Enjoy your trip.
A better place for this post is the IAD/DCA forum if the OP is flying into a DC airport directly.

adeyinka, welcome to FT! As you posted your Q. to a more appropriate forum, the Mid-Atlantic travel forum, I'll close the thread here, with best wishes for a pleasant trip. Ocn Vw 1K, Co-Moderator, CommunityBuzz
