I know alot of us jumped on that $2/$3 deal at the Hilton Tokyo and in Osaka.... and at any one time there will probably be at least a couple rooms of us FTer's there.

If it pans out, perhaps it'd be fun to start a list of who's going to which and when. Then we could arrange a meet-up via pm or something.

I'd love to trade one of these weeks for a week at the Hilton Tokyo. I was an exchange student to Osaka when I was younger, but never actually made it to Tokyo.

I'll be in Osaka from Sept. 1-8 but I'm probably going to add a 6 night Diamond stay at the Hilton in Toyko either before or after - might as well...I'll be in the neighborhood, so to speak.

I was also too late for Tokyo, but I was there 2 years ago so it'll be fun to explore another city this time.

I really hope this deal will go through.

We are booked 2/12 - 2/17 in Osaka. Checked FT before leaving early on Saturday morning for a Cub Scouts fund raiser and Soccer game and when I got back and checked FT again I was too late for Tokyo.

The family has not been to Japan (hubby has) so we want to try add a couple of nights in Tokyo as well, so if anyone has nights they do not plan on using before or after these dates please PM me. Thanks!

Have reasonable local knowledge from previous visit.

Fully anticipate making the two trips; however, would be interested in a potential hotel swap with any Tokyo traveller for some of the latter stay.

However, it is important to realize that any change or amendment to the reservation at all will invalidate it. That seems fair to me from the perspective of Hilton and/or Expedia.

By my count, the above posts are showing 260 room/days booked. Or $800,000 loss of total revenue, more or less depending on whether it's standard room or king executive room. :cool:

We are approaching to the 1 million dollar mark. :o
