Hope to be in Osaka:
Dec 16-22nd
Mar 13-30th

I'm currently travelling/mostly not working till April so was *really* tempted to block out a huge chunk and live there for a month or two. Soak the oddity that everyone says Japan is. Just didn't seem right and if this comes through I shan't complain!

Osaka

Have reasonable local knowledge from previous visit.

KIX March 6-10(5nights)

KIX May 18-25(8 nights)

Fully anticipate making the two trips; however, would be interested in a potential hotel swap with any Tokyo traveller for some of the latter stay.

However, it is important to realize that any change or amendment to the reservation at all will invalidate it. That seems fair to me from the perspective of Hilton and/or Expedia.

Cool almost 1 million dollars

By my count, the above posts are showing 260 room/days booked. Or $800,000 loss of total revenue, more or less depending on whether it's standard room or king executive room.

We are approaching to the 1 million dollar mark.

Potential loss could be much more. @:-)

4/16 - 4/23 Tokyo (King Ex.)
4/23 -4/26 Osaka (King Ex.)

I've been with FT a long time, but don't know my way around.
Presuming this goes thru, how do we meet.....is there a secret FT handshake?
It is my understanding that when the charge goes on your acct. the sale is final. Mastercd told me 3-5 days (from Sat.)
Whats with the moderators moving this all over?

There will be cancellations, a great many I suspect if name changes aren't allowed. I was told by expedia they are. So losses will surely end up less than we are seeing now. Regardless, someone in the main thread in MR has made a dedicated page that automatically orders us by date, so interested parties may want to check it out. May save this OP some time scouring/ reposting.

Osaka

8/12 to 8/18 and a separate one for the week after. I'm willing to trade the first one (8/12 to 8/18, King Executive).

Can't wait to get to Kyoto again. ^

I have received word that there is potentially some confusion on the Username/Password requirement of my "Hilton Booking Tracker" tool that the_nomad has added to the first post of this thread.

If you were confused by it or were concerned about passwords, please visit the site again. I have added a disclaimer that I would like everyone concerned to read. I assure you, I only set this site up as a way for everyone to keep track of when others will be staying at the respective hotel properties. I know the sense of community that exists on FlyerTalk and I only wish to help that sense of community grow by creating an easy way for people to know who might be around when they are.

I posted the dislaimer on the site for the booking tracker. Please read it:
