I arrive Sunday, Oct 30 at 9:00 AM. If you're still around I'm up for a drink.

I was thinking that you might be leaving that day. Maybe another time.

I'll let you know a bit nearer the time if I'm around but if I am I can certainly introduce you to one of my favourite restaurants

^ ^ Definitely you should hop down to BooDoo!!!! If you don't make it to BCN, let me know if you want to meet at either the SKL or LL on Sunday (30th) though I think I depart at noon:30

The only problem I see is that dinner is at 10 pm, that's 4 AM for me. I have a place in Luton so it's Easyjet easy

Suggestions would be Sarkhel's which is close to Wimbledon and does wonderful authentic Indian food (not the usual anglicised Bangladeshi oil slick) or The Ivy near Covent Garden.

If you DON'T go to BCN, I'm relatively free on Friday afternoon, and also on Saturday between about 5 and 630 pm. Please PM me if you're staying around.

How did I "know" that was going to be your suggestion?? OTOH: You could always try to pop into Brown's pre-"Ivy",,,,,,but I'm not certain they have 'yet' replenished their champagne supply!!!

Best wishes, Dave

LOL! I guess it should be known as "Sarah's Restaurant" just as the Cork & Bottle is known as "Sarah's Wine Bar" - I'm a creature of habit you know!

No, but I expect the Light Bar can afford to replenish its vodka supply I bet you'll think twice in future about saying "I'll have what she's having"

As things have turned out I've had a horrendous cold all week so didn't come out to play last night. In fact, I'm not even in London but in Oxford with family. Maybe I'll manage it next time!
