Slightly O/T
I have been inspired by a topic on the Women Traveler thread in which a husband was wondering what to get his wife for Christmas. Flyerwife mentioned that one year, instead of getting gifts for each other they went to the local post office and volunteered to be 'Santa' for a local family in need. As she said, they weren't asking for Gameboys or the latest toys. They were asking for coats, boots and the like.
I'd like to 'challenge' all the 'Secret Santas' out there to, not only adopt an FTer, but also a local family who really do need someone to help make their holidays special. :-: Thank you. DD |
If you read my initial post, I suggested that people do something for someone less fortunate.

I'm in!
Last year I received the most amazing present from my secret santa! It hangs on my wall to this day - and will permanently be apart of my collection.
On that note, count me in for this year... and a super-duper THANK YOU! to William for putting this all together yet again. The countless hours that you must put in to make FT Secret Santa a success are greatly appreciated!!! ...now where's my name? I need to start planning ;) -Chris |

Thanks for coordinating this again, William! You do such a fabulous job with it.
I had such a great time last year and can't wait to get started this year! |
Until signatures are returned, let me ask that everyone tell others about Secret Santa so we can get more participants....!!!
Would love to get over 100 participants this year. William |
