Cholula, I have a feeling that the T-Word Hot Sauce people will be very happy to learn that you will no longer be active in the market.

Enjoy your well-earned retirement!

What's with all of these youngsters retiring?

I am happy for them, but really am beginning to wonder what it was I did wrong?

4 years, 11 months, and 0 days.

Happy Retirement Cholula!

Now you can sit back, relax, and spend even more time on the TS&S forum

Cheers,

Thanks folks!!
And I note that tom911 and I both picked the same day to retire. ^

Retirement for me can be defined very simply:

"Doing What You Want To Do and When/Where/With Whom You Want To Do It".

I found that my business schedule made waaaay too many of these decisions for me up until today.
The rules change starting tomorrow....

WoW! Cholula! I know you said it would happen one day. What were the circumstances that led you do to it?

Has Mrs. C retired from teaching? Are you just going to travel the world?

Anxious to hear your plans!

Best, Andrea

Best, Andrea

I've been threatening it for the last six years since I retired once before in the late 90's. Made the mistake of grabbing a "part-time" consulting gig while I waited for Mrs. Cholula to retire. It soon turned into an 80 hour a week job.
The final straw for me was when I added up the number of nights I'd stayed in hotels over the last 35 years and figured I'd been gone from home the equivalent of 13+ years.....
Mrs. C retired from teaching two weeks ago and we agreed now is the time for me to bail and see the rest of the world that we've missed thus far.
Hope to meet and greet a lot of FT'ers as we kick our leisure travel plans into high-gear....

Hoping SAT is back on your short list!

Glad I have got a couple of those heavenly Cholula bottles in my fridge!

Keep us all posted as to your plans!

Love to you both!

Andrea

Congratulations.
Now we'll run into you a whole lot more as you go about "Doing What You Want To Do and When/Where/With Whom You Want To Do It".
Franny and I are honored to have been invited to celebrate the retirement(s) with you a couple of times this month.
