We have a group of fellows at the Lanesborough (on the 35 nightly rate), including some FTers. I hope they are all ok too.

Thanks, folks, it's great to have your support.
My office is about three minutes walk (OK, five allowing for crossing the road) from the Lanesborough. It is eerily quiet here, with just the odd emergency siren. Clearly traffic is either being prevented from coming or drivers have the good sense to keep away.
The bad news is there have been some deaths, though mercifully nowhere near as many as feared. For those affected, we offer our thoughts and prayers.
Disruption is the major problem. Our people can go home when they like today. I'm staying on, and am giving lifts to three colleagues who came in this morning on the Underground.
Tomorrow? We'll see. After all ... tomorrow is another day said Scarlett O'Hara in Gone with the Wind.

My brother and his (British) wife were living in London until about a year ago. They've heard from their former co-workers and received emails from most of their friends. Though not FTers, I'm relieved to hear that they're all okay. Just waiting to hear news from my SIL's sister, although it's unlikely that she was using any type of public transport this morning.

Chatted with BingoSF a bit ago. She is okay as she is out of London working for the week but one of the blasts was close to her flat.
Hope that others are okay.

Thank you for the kind thoughts.
I live very close to Russell Sq / Tavistock Sq where one of train and bus explosions took place. I was home at the time, and certainly was one of the lucky ones. It's been a sad day here.

Both myself and Mrs TEX277 are fine. Her family (who do not live too far from Kings Cross) are all fine too ^
Good to see the compassion of our fellow Fters. Our thoughts, best wishes and condolences go out to those affected and their families.
