Tom911 retires…

the day after tomorrow. Although he has been really shy and reserved about his retirement, let’s give him a nice shout out. Congratulations Tom.

Yoo-hoo!!!! Congratulations! I am extremely envious. :)

Leumas Jul 5, 2005 12:35 pm

Congratulations, Tom! :) You look far too young to be retiring. ^

Reserved and shy, I'm not sure about (his signature has proudly previewed the upcoming event for some time now!) but a well-deserved round of applause. Very best wishes and hope you'll have the time not only to do AA-EXP but (once again) UA 1K and a few other top-tiers while you're at it!

Want to extend a welcome to the club. Since having started my "long vacation" a few months ago want to let you know that on a day by day basis it is a lot easier than going to work. :)

Just remember to do it one day at time or otherwise you will do like some that I know and become bored with it and want to do something stupid like go to work again. :D

Congratulations Tom!

Yes, his signature would say that he is not being too shy about it.... :)

CONGRATULATIONS TOM!

Hope you can now find some time to do some travel.... :)

A most envious congratulations as well. I figure I've got another 20 years to catch up with you on this one. So, does this mean more time to post on FT? Sincerely, i trust this is a day you're most happy about and will lead to many wonderful years ahead - doing what you want to do, not what someone else wants you to.

Cheers,
Randy

Tom911 was one of the first Flyertalkers that I met way back when in the fall of 2000.

We've broken bread together many times. He was on the very first Brooklyn Reality Tour.

If you ever have the opportunity to meet this gracious man, jump at the chance.

Good luck on your retirement.

Hey Tom. Our paths haven't crossed often on FlyerTalk but you've certainly built an impressive list of friends around these parts.
Best of luck in your retirement...hope to run into you at an upcoming DO or two!

Congratulations on attaining freedom; I've always enjoyed your posts and look forward to getting to read more of them. ^

Tom, maybe our paths will start crossing in various cities around the world!

I was filing old pictures the other day and came across one where I gangpressed you into holding the welcome sign along with stockmanjr at our San Diego Do in 2001.

Hopefully I will see you next at Natalie's swim meet in Irvine.

Best wishes Tom!

I hope they put valium into the CoCo water system for your last two days. :D
