Begawan Giri would be too expensive for me. And remember, any resort type for honeymooner/couples like Begawan Giri, Aman, Four Seasons, Puri Wulandari, will get us into trouble having party almost until sunset.
Go for more towards big hotels and resorts. I would say Ritz Carlton villas are quite secluded. The largest is 3-bedroom.
Just my two cents.

Maybe CGK can recommend some places that fit the requirements?

I'll try to find the largest on down...
Cost might or might not be an issue for some...dunno...I think it's totally worth it (like, fer sure) to share villas...our private domain...

True, CGK, about partying late... you must have meant 'sunrise'?
At Begawan Giri, I was picturing we book one whole villa 'building', which should isolate us a bit.

Cost shouldn't be too bad. You've got 11 months to save up.

Is Bali expensive? Well, it depends. But it's always Bali offers a range from cheap to very expensive.
The spa we went it was very reasonable rates, about CAD20. For the same stuff, in other place like the famous RC spa, it will cost CAD125. (perhaps my comparison is not really accurate, but just an approximation.)
I had lunch for three persons in a good Balinese food in Denpasar, the bill was about CAD15. But we had dinner at LaLucciola by the beach to see the sunset as well, we paid about CAD60 per person.

We might need to be sensitive to those who can't spend that much.
i don't mind personally but we are a group.

oontiveros: I don't remember how many, but the residence can fit many, if people are willing to share rooms. So the cost per person should not be as staggering as it seems now.
Edited to add:
But then who will stay in the Royal Suite and who at the smaller rooms?
This may indeed be a bad idea after all.
My bad...

Goodness...its only 24hrs and its already at page 4 ??!?! Wow, we really had a crazy time at the last trip to be planning another trip 11 months ahead.
I am 99% confirmed for the trip (1% for minor contigencies).
No preferences for hotels, although a villa will be great. Lets hope the villa remains standing on our check out date..
If a resort hotel is suggested, I would take IC Jimbaran Bay.
