No, because it's so sad when they do.

I experienced the security line of doom at SJC (all the way back to baggage claim!), thus missed my 6:20am flight. No drunken UA550 with fred, he's pounding them back solo.

Nice thing is that they confirmed me in F all the way, no standby. I get to experience a CR7 now, since I missed the mainline in.

I arrive at 3:30pm, I suppose I'll just head over to the Sheraton.

Landed in SAT as planned despite some problems this morning like having to drive home from the airport after arriving when I realized I forgot my license in the other wallet and subsequently missing the first flight I was booked on. Had a great GA who got me on the sold out 9 am flight to ORD, and I made it over to the SAT flight just in time

Not quite sure on dinner yet. I'll give you a call tomorrow and hopefully you can join us sometime tomorrow.

We did do County Line (and Rita's before that )... joined by aviationkiwi and Captain Over, we mightily demolished plenty of BBQ....several of us had the 5 meat "BBQ Platter of Doom" sampler. Walked the Riverwalk after dinner and watched the thunderstorm from a 10th floor suite at the Wyndham...where a wedding reception was just breaking up. Good thing wireless and I took a cab to get more beer, since all the local packies close at 9 PM

Today it's the Alamo and secondhand shops / antique mall on Houstion St...we're thinking dinner at La Margarita in Market Square at 7 PM.

paradocs, I'm pm'ing you my cell # in case you can meet us for dinner.

Fred, what is it with you, thunderstorms, and FTers drinking beer in your suite?

We're going to do our best to at least meet you guys for a drink at 7PM. Hope you are enjoying the afternoon! That was quite a storm last night. Don't let the humidity get to you and stay in the shade.

FH, I dunno....wireless and i had to cab it to get the beers last night...at a convenience mart 5 miles away where an armed police officer was guarding the cooler. We felt safe there...sorta. Thankfully, the Wyndham has no porn channel(s), no microwave an no honor bar. And, no kitchen sink, so we couldn't do an AASweets; I had to fill the trashcan up with ice to keep the beer cold.

Spent the day at the Alamo, wandering around and stopping at secondhand shops and an antique mall...where we all found several vintage airline magazine ads, suitable for multiple FT living rooms. Wireless got hisself a spankin' new Resistol, looks like a real cowboy now. Also made another stop at County Line in order to verify that the magaritas last night were that good....and they are Off to La Margarita to meet paradocs and the rest of the SAT crew for dinner and more margaritas....

Hope y'all are having a great weekend!

Excellent pics, Wireless! Glad to see that Fred's tradition of being photographed with something interesting on his head has been achieved so early in the weekend.

He skillfully placed something in his shirt and had them out by the time we could power up the cameras. He's learning.
