Darren, now that you're through with law school, can we see you back in the OneWorld forum?

Its been 3 years already!
My how time flys. It feels like only yesterday you were taking off for law school and no you're done! That was like nothing. Gosh its satisfying having someone I know finish law school. What a sense of accomplishment I feel! Thanks, glad you finished
No really, CONGRATULATIONS :-: ^ :-:
Where are you going to live and when can we all converge???

Damn... has three years gone by that fast? It seems like only yesterday that we were in Tokyo figuring out how the Toto worked and talking about how you would be heading off soon.
Congrats and best wishes for the next phase. I know you will excel at whatever you do.

Yeh, it has gone quickly overall. Hard for me to believe it's been three years though it also feels like an eternity in many respects.
Thank you everyone for your good wishes. I do appreciate them and it means a lot to me that you would take your time to give me your congrats. I figure in six hours from now that I will be a free man.
Ldsant, the award was the Zack Award for Academic Achievement in Alternative Dispute Resolution. Although my international involvement was obviously a factor, I was actually nominated by my advanced mediation prof and no one on the decision committee was involved with my international arbitration work or studies. Theoretically, it was purely based off my ADR classes and involvement with the school. But since the prof that nominated me was also one of those who approved the time off I took in China recently, she was aware of the other things I did and no doubt it influenced her which in turn would necessarily have influenced the awards committee.
WH, I did, actually. I will send you an email because something obviously got crossed or lost.
Lisa, I am going to stay a right-coaster for a while. After taking the bar in PA and NJ, I am going to be clerking for a trial judge here in NJ. Even though she is a public figure, I will respect her and her privacy by not mentioning her name. In August, I will be moving closer to where I will be working (Trenton) so I will be about half way between PHL and EWR.
And last but not least, Diana, I will do that.
Thank you again and I am off to eat a bagel and don my hood.
