CHICAGO (NW burbs) Dim Sum

Hey all,

found this very good dim sum restaurant in Hoffman Estates a NW burb of Chicago.

Jockey Restaurant
1017 N Roselle Rd
Hoffman Estates, IL

Anyone up for dim sum at 11:15am on Sunday June 26th?

Reason for the earlier lunch time is this place gets packed by 11:30am.

Post your interest

Willie

Finally, a Chicago DO that's doable for me (and not in the Loop), and I'm out of town. :-(

I don't feel like switching my user id but I'll be there. Wireless probably will not be attending, however.

I posted after several very good margaritas and forgot that I have Cubs-Sox tickets on the 26th. If I am meeting my niece at the game, I'll be able to make the first part of lunch and leave at 12:15. If I'm driving her in, however, I will not be able to make this particular Sunday. I can also do the Sunday before or after it.

Nick, fyi...the Sunday prior is Fathers Day, and the Sunday after is 4th of July weekend.

Well that would explain why I'm in town both weekends!

I bet that your niece would love to meet Willie (who wouldn't? ). Why don't you take her for Dim Sum? Those tickets were supposed to be for Omar and me anyway!

I subjected LurkerCousinNick to the FT masses in DC, but he actually has an interest in travel. My niece, on the other hand, well she doesn't always know what to think of me anyway, so driving 20 miles out of the way in each direction for Chinese food and then driving past Chinatown on the way to the game... I might lose her completely!

Besides, if Omar shows up, she may charm him into forgetting that ICT is in this country.

Are you suggesting that Willie wouldn't be able to be charming?
