Thanks for organizing this, I will definitely be there

What's the dress code?

I just brought khakis and shirts, nothing formal as I am taking a computer class.

Haven't been around these many nerds since I went to see Star Wars

That's perfect Have a great time. Sorry I'll be in NY this weekend and can't join a get-together 10 minutes from my house

As much as I was looking forward to attending a DO in my own backyard I have to miss this one - have a minor emergency with a client that needs to dealt with so won't around tomorrow maybe next time

Khakis and a shirt will be fine, of course

As for many nerds, it seems I may be the only one to show!

For what we are planning, hopefully you won't be too dissapointed, what with sitting and dining on a relaxed deck, over the beach and surf, at sunset, with drinks at the ready - at least it will be a change from Texas ... I think. My lack of geography knowledge is well known on FT. Is El Paso a beach city? And if so, can you actually see the sunset around Mexico?

El Paso, a beach city?

Of course, there is lots of sand everywhere, but no ocean

Actually we are in the middle of the desert, so seeing the ocean, or any body of water is a big plus ^

And that is what happened

Thank you for meeting with me for dinner, really appreciate it.

The salmon with mango and coconut shrimp were excellent

Talking

jfe is just delightful. Too bad fate has decided only a few have met him

We had a wonderful time, ate too much and found out about each other's lives. For those that couldn't make it, just so you know, Jesus and his wife are expecting a baby girl within 4 weeks!

This added even more happiness to an already nice dinner
