Question Does anyone chat anymore? Do the moderators accept "bribes"?

Sorry if ths doesn't belong here - but since I am waiting for my membership credentials (i.e. - I don't have access to OMNI yet), I hope you will please allow me to ask my questions here.

I have logged into the chat tool several times at various hours and there never seems to be anyone there. I also don't see any chats scheduled. I would like to try to start "meeting" some people to travel with. Is there a "secret" day / time you all meet to chit-chat?

Also, do the moderators of this board ever accept bribes to become "OMNI enabled" sooner? (If it works in Vegas, maybe it will work here...eh ?). I am looking forward to the day when I am a full-fledged memeber.

Thanks,

In my experience, you will find FTers on chat on weeknights (US timezones) with some people chatting on Saturday and Sunday nights as well. There's not much activity the rest of the time (for now). Feel free to log in sometime!

It's been a while since I've been in chat, but it's probably 90% "etc."

The answer to your question is yes, but not always.

Some moderators accept grooms instead, while other moderators choose to remain single.

The moderators do, indeed, accept bribes. Canarsie, in particular, is very open to that. Unfortunately, they never deliver.

Carnarsie once promised that in exchange for a Carvel ice cream sundae in FLL he would arrange to have the millions of hoarded SkyMiles in Cholula's account transferred to me.

He got the sundae...I am still waiting for the SkyMiles.

Hmmmmmmmmmm. Maybe that explains the millions of SkyMiles that mysteriously showed up in my account. If so, thanks, Carnarsie.

AFAIK, Canarsie doesn't respond to bribes nor do I respond to extortion...
So I'm happy to report that my gazillion SkyMiles are still languishing in my account looking for a suitable home.
And, NO, Dovster, I'm not looking for any suggestions.....

Perhaps you should use them yourself. DL miles are easily used on NW to SPN (or to Asian destinations) via NRT or NGO.

What do you have to do to become OMNI-abled? I can be bribed with beer but I am not a moderator. You can send me beer anyway though

I'm rarely in chat these days as folks don't show up until well past my bedtime.
