SIN is fairly pernikety about passports with less than 6 months to run (never been a problem for me, they fill up too fast)!
Also was reliably informed yesterday that SIN should finally start processing APEC cards from 1 Aug. At least that is the agreed date they will start processing the pre-approvals. As always...many a slip between...

How about keeping it closeby? At the Four Seasons perhaps?
Oh there is also this mango desserts place (from HKG?) at International Plaza beside Shaw House worth considering...

Good idea StarG. Mango desserts place ^ ... I was there previously. Definitely well worth considering but may not want to load up too much prior to the Peranakan. The seating, however, is a bit of hit and miss. Not sure if they can cater for all of us unless we move the tables together.

don't like the mango idea, will be full from the flight anyway. but you guys and girls, do whatever suits you best.
I will very likely come straight to the dinner place at the Meritus Negara. At 07:30 I will be there.
Drinks afterwards is settled.

Well for those up for the pre dinner drinks: any suggestions/comments?
That mango place have cold desserts (like ice creams, etc.) from mango. I thought it would be nice to have it in Singapore humid weather.
But agree with SQFAN that IF we do go there we will have to keep it light - don't want to load up too much.
Any other suggestions? Any comments on Four Seasons?

Coming from you, I am pretty sure the place should be fine.

I would also go with the flow.

IIRC, the bar at the Four Seasons is not what I'd call a happening place, so I'd go with fly4fun's suggestion to try Muddy Murphy's.
^
Raz, what time would you suggest we meet there? Maybe 6:30?

Looked up the link and found this:
CROWD -
There's a good blend of expatriates and locals here as the boisterous atmosphere is hard to resist.
