Hey, I can also offer advice along with detailed experience of long haul Y, having spent a number of years doing so on various carriers including SQ (obviously), MH and ( :eek: ) KL ( :eek: ). I definitely served my time before getting 'promoted' to J :D .

BTW I thought it was J for anything over 6 hours at your place ?.

I'd vote for the Ritz. As irritated as Mr. Megatop got with the staff for seeming to ignore him but fawn over me, I imagine that would happen anywhere. RC property really was beautiful, stunningly so, even.

Absolutely -- the RC was fantastic. ws8n and I both have packages from them along with the card for someone in group sales. I'd also suggest looking at a few others (I have a few things in mind ;) ), but the RC is clearly leading the charge IMO

Someone in my office might be able to ask for good rates at RC. How good, I don't know.

Unless Marriott status is good for anything at the RC...and then I sense a mad rush among BaliDoers to start racking up Marriott nights :D

I'm curious...what did Gaz think about the Sheraton? Or anyone else who's stayed there before. How does it compare to the Westin (not including the RBC hostless)? If rooms were positioned correctly, we could take over a lagoon all to ourselves :D

Sheraton would be the same as Westin, in terms of pool-wise. I would vote for RC, and I am sure Daddy will put us in one of the villas :D :D through his connection...
