Therefore, we need to decide which one for Friday, which for Saturday. My thinking is, since the birthday girl arrives late Friday 7pm, we should aim for later time instead of 19:30.
Another consideration, since MAN Flyer will be available only on Friday night, we should check with him, which one of the three will be his first choice (as he is an SQ PITA ;) , therefore gets the FIRST choice always ... :D :) :D
But from the "busy" situation restaurant wise, most probably it's easier to get reservation at KuDeTa for Friday night, instead of Saturday night.
What do you think guys?
I tried to change to the early flight on Friday morning, but no availability in any class (but will keep an eye on it). So, assuming I can work in the extra vacation time, I'm currently scheduled to arrive in DPS on Thursday :) I'm leaving the dinner plans completely up to my charming companions!

Now....changing the reservation...that was a real treat & you don't want to know how long I was on the phone...not to mention having it interrupted by a fire drill (ours, not UA's) and I'm now flying transpac in SQ C instead of F :o

Arrghhh.......I was going to say yes since SO & I have never been to Bali and post when I got in to office this morning but 15mins ago, I've been told to get ready for a trade mission exhibition in Chicago starting that weekend. Oh well.....

So cawhite60156, I guess I'm going to Chicago and you're not be there :D

Are you sure? Memorial Day weekend nobody will go to a trade exhibition. :D They will go partying by the Lake!

Good to hear you will arrive Thursday. You will have more time to enjoy Bali.
And, I could imagine how long you were on the phone. I've done that. :D

Actually I would've been gone that weekend even if not going to Bali as we usually go to the Indy500.

How long will you be in Chicago? Would love to be able to see you while you're there if we can coordinate schedules!

I still have a couple days to have the ticket issued, so if that Friday morning inventory opens up, I'll do that. Otherwise, I'll be spending Thursday day in Singapore and arrive in DPS that evening (no award inventory Thursday morning either). I'm looking forward to it! Of course, it also makes it likely that I'd be the first of the 3 PLTs to check into the Sheraton... :D

In any case, if folks can line up six weeks in advance for the new Star Wars, I can pitch up at the Sheraton Lobby 2 weeks in advance. I wonder how much the rates are for sleeping in the lobby. I ain't paying rack that's for sure :D

Well, that what I was told but then that's the weekend we leave..we'll see anyways.......

If you leave Monday morning from SIN, you will arrive in ORD Monday afternoon/evening, i.e. still a holiday. Next morning go to work! FTer should not be worry about jet-lag right? :D Thus, you still can go to Bali for two nights. ;)

Thanks -- I did manage to find award inventory SIN-DPS on the Thursday morning flight, and even up front :)

After two weeks of sleeping in the lobby, I'm sure you're going to have a really good attitude that weekend. :D

Hmmmm... if I wasn't already going to be in Oz, this would be a definite wanna be there. I had already looked into getting up to Bali from Oz after that weekend, but couldn't make my UA ticket flex back the way I needed to.

Hmph. Que sera - but I DO love Bali!
