I thought I played golf but lately I have been told what I am attempting to do is not really Golf. I now loosely resemble the following:

I had been avoiding this thread because I'm not a golfer. Then I noticed this a.m. that there are quite a few posts. I think that Omar is getting a good reponse, so I take a peak. I see y'all are having the usual success staying on topic! :D

You know, any golf course that we pick is going to be near a Culver's... you could just join us for after-golf custard and butterburgers. :)

So since Omar can't seem to keep a thread organized :), we have two golfing events

Sounds like we should pick a course along I-88 or I-55 for the 7th, and a course along I-90 for the 21st. Unfortunately, my favorite course east of 294 (Timber Trails) has been closed to be turned into a housing development. :mad: My favorite course along I-88 that would have a 9am tee time is Fox Bend out in Oswego, but I don't think anybody else wants to drive that far.

I've been taking golf lessons this spring. Sign me up to come whatever weekend RobotDoctor comes.
