Question about member
Hey,
just wanted to send a pm and/or email to a long time member Guy Betsy. It stated leave of absence and no email/pm allowed.
I certainly can appreciate people's privacy but when people just vanish I get worried........
Any reassurances? ................

I feel sure he is in good health if that is your concern? I noticed him posting on another board today, so maybe he has contact detail there:

Interesting statement, Nobbi:
When I first became addicted to FT, I wondered how we would know if one of us passed away. Since then three good FlyerTalk friends, two of whom were far too young, have moved on to their greater reward. It is also possible that some who just disappeared, are also no longer with us. THe virtual world is brand new world with brand new challenges.
I am delighted to hear that Guy Betsy is alive and well. He has wonderful, eclectic taste in clothing.

Just FYI, Guy Betsy is well and in high spirits. His absence has nothing to do with health issues. His presence could not be felt more stronger than at www.cathaytalk.com where he, B-HXB, Chiangi, mhtaipei, fakecd, geardown, christep,........and all the other die-hard CX flyers have been holding their own discussions.
