Why don't you read post #70?

I gave freddie to Kiwi Fyer after dinner at Mozaic. It's time to stop pointing the finger at me. I do not know who has freddie!!!

I believe a clue might be the person who took the photo of freddie on the ground. But that is only my educated guess. God forbid I would want to deprive any FTer the opportunity to travel with freddie jr.

diana says she doesn't have Freddie Jr. and gave him to Kiwi Flyer - she has also had conversations about a handoff in LA with wireless and photos of him after Kiwi Flyer left Bali along with a cryptic post yesterday that seems to suggest that some might be aware of his whereabouts (or at least the would only seem appropriate in that circumstance). I'm certainly as confused as everyone else.

Sounds like time for some private message conversation time for these individuals and the parties who might be able to help get Freddie traveling again.

Has anyone asked Kiwi Flyer whether or not he passed Freddie on to anyone else? It sounds like the dateline on the LA converation is different depending on which party is correct.

Yes - and I'm not able to shed any more light than my previous post. The photo is after I left Bali. I have PM'ed some others who were at Bali and stayed later than I did to try and find out. Still waiting.

So I guess the question was since diana said that he was passed to you - did you know that you were taking official possession of Freddie or was he in someone else's possession?

(I'm just trying to help get to the bottom of things... lots of people pose with Freddie for photos and stuff at DOs. It sounds like diana was in official possession of him - usually passing him off includes all his accessories which is kind of a big reminder of "oh yes, he's in MY possession now.)

He's got a bag and all this various stuff in the bag... things that haven't "attached" to the hole drilled in him for his luggage tags.

I've had him on a few occasions and he has always traveled with all that stuff for handoffs.

Okay... so Kiwi Flyer doesn't think he was given Freddie - so that traces possession back to diana. Since she insists she handed him off, I'm guessing he is officially lost unless someone wants to help solve the mystery of:

1. Where his "clothes" are.

2. Who was he handed to (if not Kiwi Flyer)

3. Why there was still talk of a handoff after Bali but that "date issue" is just now coming up.

IIRC, Diana you took Freddie after the Freddies without the accessories (hence Wireless' attempt to recover Jr earlier in May and reunite it with its clothes prior to the BRT) or much else. I guess you didn't want to be deprived yourself

Why is it time to stop pointing the finger at you? It was your responsibility and you seem to have no clue about where it is or who took it. you had responsibility for Junior, you took him to Bali(twice), you saw the statue after you knew Kiwi Flyer had left, a clear indication that there was no 'hand off' -- it was still your responsibility. What are we missing?

Once again, I point you to post 70.

When I said that I saw freddie on the ground, it meant the photo, which by the way was not taken by me. Why do you think that there were three question marks in my post?

Secondly, wireless made no attempt to contact me after the Brooklyn Tour. He had my phone number and address.

Thirdly, where were all of you when I made comment 17 in this thread ???

Lastly, I tried to give freddie to cawhite at Mozaic and she wanted nothing more to do with him. As we were all getting up from our table I handed freddie in the little shopping bag that he's been in to Kiwi Flyer and asked that he take him.

So diana

1. Who did you hand him to.. or did you just leave him sitting somewhere and assume that someone would pick him up?

And

Where are his clothes - you were so determined to run out of the room with him in LA - even though you were asked not to - that his clothes were left behind - does anyone know where those are either

If Sheep didn't have a perfect alibi, I'd be terribly suspicious of the package he carried onto the small ferry we took out onto a remote island off the coast of Scotland on Saturday.... and which was last seen disappearing over the side, with a big splash and a cloud of bubbles, halfway to the island with Sheep grinning hugely

Much less joking aside, i hope Freddie Jr is found soon Sheep is very worried too

So whose photo of Freddie Jr on the ground was it, that diana so gleefully linked to?

wireless has been attempting now for months to reunite Freddie Jr with his clothing/accessories. (see post 13 in the thread diana references)

Yikes! Kidnapped and then abandoned! Poor Freddie

Wireless still has his clothes.

Who did take the picture (that mysteriously can no longer be viewed)?

Although the Bali album is still there, the pictures of Freddie Jr. on the ground have now been removed from it.

Sorry mind reader is not part of my skill set, I have no idea what 3 question marks would mean ... nor do I understand why you have 3 marks after the statement below So you didn't snap the photo, that's fine, but you were present or so you seem to indicate in your posts.

since the assumption would be that you had discussed the hand off with these people, and did not arbitrarily assume they would take responsibility for the statue from you, why should anyone have commented?

It doesn't work that way, and in fact is one of the negatives of taking Freddie is identifying someone to take him next and coordinating the exchange. Giving someone a shopping bag and saying "here" is not passing on responsibility - sorry. Especially when that someone, KF in this case, wasn't even aware he was being asked (or told) to take the statue with him and never accepted the responsibility. Also, since you have been aware that the statue on the ground photo occurred after KF left, one would expect that you'd follow up with others from Bali Do to ensure that someone took it with them or to find out if it can be recovered from wherever it might have been left.
