I've been a little lazy in this regard, but Freddie's Flight Memory is now back up to date.

Thanks Bundy Bear and anat0l for your efforts!

And since it's now on the previous page, I thought I would give serfty's post some additional exposure:

Two weeks later I will be in the USA (March 6/7/8) and I will be able to hand the little fella over to someone who can get him to the Freddies. I will be in SFO and ATL.

Is there anyone I can handover to on those dates who can ensure they can get Freddy to the award ceremony?
Any takers?

01FEB QF516 SYD-BNE 1005 1035 Economy B737-800 VH-VYC Arnhem Land 8D aisle
Note that Star Cls refers to Jetstar Airways's Star Class premium cabin. It's more like Premium Economy rather than Business, even though it credits as Business under Qantas Frequent Flyer program. Since Flight Memory has no Premium Economy option, I'll let you decide how to classify this one.

Also notice that both Japan flights are operated by Jetstar (JQ), and travel via OOL.

Trip Report to be written up soon. You'll be able to view pictures of Freddie's adventures there.... Hopefully I'll start writing the TR soon, except I have so much on in the next week......

I'm in FLL and will probably be hosting some folks who can bring Jr. to the Freddies, so if you can find a FTer to bring him from SFO or ATL to FLL, I would be willing to pick her/him and it up at the airport and maybe even bring them all out for lunch or dinner?

Let me know if I can help out...

Freddie and anat0l FLounge...then part ways...

Freddie went with me to Perth for a student symposium; five days of hot weather, which was thankfully a bit cooler in Pinjarra and moderately tolerable on account of the heat being dry (not humid, unlike Brisbane).

Code:
Date Flight Sector Dep Arr Class Aircraft Rego A/C Name Seat/Type
08FEB QF651 BNE-PER 0905 1325 Economy B737-800 VH-VXL Charleville 13C aisle
13FEB QF566 PER-SYD 1615 2225 Economy A330-300 VH-QPC Broken Hill 46G aisle
14FEB JQ35 SYD-MEL 1515 1645 Economy A330-200 VH-EBD 40B aisle
Freddie joined Skoogle, flashware, Bundy Bear and myself on 14 February to experience the Qantas First Class Lounge in SYD T1. Pictures hopefully coming soon to a TR near you (will depend on how my workload pans out; Bundy Bear also has pictures).

When we arrived at MEL, the FLoungers met with Itsalongwaydown+1, who were travelling to SYD before going onto NZ for a much deserved break. At the risk of Freddie being over NZ'ed, he's now in the safe hands of Itsalongwaydown, only to be back in Australia (BNE) in time for the FT AGM. So it was at the MEL Qantas Domestic Business Lounge that Freddie and I parted ways.

EDIT: Trip report for this sortie with Freddie Jr can be found here.

This will be short and sweet due my limited internet access.

Freddie Jnr arrived safely in AKL with us this afternoon. Tomorrow he will travel to Queenstown and then by car to Wanaka for a few days. The reverse trip will occur on Thursday.
Saturday I'll deliver Freddie to serfty in BNE.

More details when I have morew internet time.

Thanks, anat0l!

I've added the flights you took with Freddie to the flight map. You certainly managed to fill out some blank spots around Oz!

Looking at the map, I'm again finding it hard to believe that Freddie never found his way to the likes of Seattle or Portland. Or does anyone remember him having been there?

Any chance of getting him to Alaska for the mid-March "Spring Break" trip? That would fill-in another blank spot on the map.

And yes we have pictures.

First stop the Qantas J Lounge in Sydney; seems like Freddie was eager for a drink but the bar wasn't going to be open for another 30 minutes and we had another more important lounge to take a look at.

The Qantas F Lounge in Sydney.

Thanks to Anat0l, Skoogle, Flashware in guesting me and Freddie Jr into the F lounge in Sydney.

After our Jetstar International flight to Melbourne we headed off to the Qantas J Lounge in Melbourne.

In the picture we have: Anat0l; Skoogle; Itsalongwaydown; Bundy Bear, Second Row; Sue In Oz holding Freddie Jr and Flashware.

So where to next for Freddie.

Who is going to the Freddie awards in FLL. Serfty is heading over to the USA in a week or Skoogle so either one of them can get Freddie back to the US in time for the Freddie Awards.(Who chose the East Coast)

Any takers for a hand over to get Freddie to the Freddie Awards.

I'll pick up Freddy in BNE on Saturday.

He will then be in SFO on the 6th - 9th March.

It would be easiest if I can leave him there, however I'm doing an MR and DFW, LAX and ATL are all good possibilities for handover.

If any are around these places of that weekend and can help (note wendyhamburger's kind offer), please post.

If all else fails, there's Fed-ex ...

That's not exactly the "special delivery" Freddie deserves.

... no it is not and I fully agree!

I first made the offer to transport a month ago.

Surely there is someone who can assist getting jr from the west LAX/SFO/ATL/DFW to FLL...

I made an offer for Freddie Jr to join my world tour, starting on Monday and end where ever he needs to be on 10-March.

P.S. Includes 5 days in Seattle.
