Be careful... I've changed my cell phone number twice since beginning to meet folks at FT DOs.

Do drunk text messages count? I was unfortunately on the phone when the EDI-Do participants tried to call and didn't leave voice mail, but I did get a text message reply later after I'd sent one to apologize.

With your working for an airline and his working for a hotel, surely there's a fan-meeting opportunity available if wanted/needed/not-needed-but-who-cares-anyways....etc.Great talking w/ and text-messaging w/ the SEA crowd last night/this morning.

Well, I got a preemptive SMS from someone with a UK phone number last night saying they were heading off a drunken phone call for an hour.
No idea who it was, and the promised (and hotly-anticipated) call never came.

But after about 20 pints there wasn't much ability to grip a phone let alone find a number. So our pre-emptive warning texts went a trifle wasted.

I got a phone call on Saturday night of the London Do (from UM Guy, FredMartens, et al.) but I'm afraid I was the one who was drunk. I didn't even realize who made the call until I read about it in that thread. Does that count?
