Tarver vs Johnson @ Staples Center in LA Tonight 12/18
The Good:
1 free ticket to the fight tonight at Staples Center. Good seat.
The Bad:
You will be sitting next to auh2o and might be coerced into having a few adult beverages.
Anyone?
Light Heavyweight Boxing Championship
Antonio Tarver vs. Glen Johnson
Plus Star-Studded Undercard:
Julio Gonzalez vs. David Telesco
Tarvis Simms vs. Carlos Bojorquez
Daniel Cervantes vs. Christopher Molina
Vinny Maddalone vs. Ronnie Smith
Mia St. John vs. Lisa Lewis
Come see the battle for the TRUE CHAMPION. WBC / WBA Light Heavyweight Champion Antonio Tarver will take on IBF Light Heavyweight Champion Glen Johnson. Both fighters knocked out the great Roy Jones Jr and will now face each other to crown the undisputed IBO / Ring Magazine Light Heavyweight Champion!
Plus, Latino boxing sensation Julio Gonzalez will make his return to STAPLES Center on the undercard, after his memorable fight against Roy Jones Jr. in 2001

$250 ticket went unused.

It was a great fight. And all of the booze and food was free.

I guarantee that if I had been within any reasonable shooting distance of LA, you sure would have had me in that seat consuming the beverages that you mentioned and cheering like hell for the Underhound.
And if you ever are going to be in NY or Miami when the Giants or the Fish are at home, just a little notice to me will probably get you a seat.

It was one of the best fights i've seen in a long time! I had it as a draw scoring at home!

Wow...now that is really annoying, I have Isles tickets(darn lockout) and I always end up searching for people who want tickets as I have two seats and usually always need one.
It is really annoying when somebody takes a ticket and does not use it.
BTW...if ever in NY and the Ice Hockey league exits this lockout, let me know and a seat is yours.

Again...you will have to sit next to me and maybe have a drink or 10....
And I think same for Lakers on Wednseday.

More likely to get the desired response than "Tarver vs. Johnson." (Some people hate boxing but like other sports....
