Who has the most posts?
I happened to notice today that Spiff has over 15K posts since he/she first came on FT early in 2000. If my math is correct that means he/she has posted an average of about 9 times a day every day since joining. Incredible! Is this the most posts for any FTer and is this the highest average daily posting for any long-term FTer? I love to lurk and participate on FT but can't imagine where one gets the time and dedication/obsession to post at that level. Any interesting explanations of how such a pace is maintained?

Empress has over 20k posts (AC forum). Others may have more but some gerrymandering was going on a couple of years back and some "inflated" posts totals may have occurred during the fun period

ozstamps has over 22 k and doc has 41,483. I think doc's may be the highest. He was posting "many" news stories there for a while. Both may be legit post counts. @:-)

KT, it seems to me that discussions of who is doing what with regard to providing information or asking questions about frequent flyer programs clearly is part of "frequent flyer program buzz". In fact, I would argue that looking at the people side of FFP buzz is a very important dimension of FT's appeal to many of us. Granted that this post is not related to a specific program or issue "buzz". Rather it is about the people who are creating the "buzz". I submit that knowing about those who contribute to the "buzz", to what extent they do so, and why and how they participate to the degree they do is of interest to a great number of FTers. I did consider other forums for this issue but none seemed to me to be more appropriate than the "buzz" since the topic cuts across ALL forums. I do not believe the topic has anything to do with OMNI as the definition of that forum solicits cultural, political, etc. information that is NOT specific to FFPs. Of course, should a moderator choose to accept your rationale rather than mine I would abide by that decision. But in my judgment the topic is exactly where it belongs.

Discussion of Flyertalkers themselves and "topics related directly to the general membership of FlyerTalk" really belong in CommunityBuzz.
I'm a little hesitant to move this thread there, only because threads about post count have at times become unpleasant. I hope that doesn't happen in this case.
So with apologies for causing potential trouble for the Community moderators, I will move this thread to the forum where I believe that it fits most closely. In any case, post counts don't strike me as "the latest frequent flyer program buzz."

I had something like 77,500 posts before the Omni posts were removed. I am now at 5400+ posts. I went from King of the World to a minimalist. It is about quantity, I say, quantity not quality.

It's all about QUALITY, not quantity.
