Middle East based FT'ers?

Thanks to Messers Sarbanes and Oxley, I am going to be spending the majority of the coming nine months hopping around the major business centres in the Middle East.. now I have been to most before, and this time, don't want to waste the chance to catch up with FT regulars, over a jug of freshly prepared Saudi Champagne !

I'll be working on the itinerary shortly, but just wanted to see if there are many people lurking out there in Kuwait, Jeddah, Beirut, Damascus, Casablanca, Algiers, as well as good old reliable Cairo and Dubai?

Heck, I may even start taking Arabic classes..
Cheers

Graeme

I'll be in Amman, Jordan in July of next summer for my cousins wedding. Will you be planning a stop in beautiful Jordan?

well i shall be making some transit stops in Dubai, so perhaps we should aim for a Dubai event.. which days do you classify as 'weekend' as they vary so much between companies in the region ?

If you plan a stay at the Burj Al Arab, can I come sleep in one of the wings?

My weekend is Thursday and Friday.

Oh, and by the way, there are two VERY good reasons why hotels are cheap in July in Dubai - humidity and unbearable heat!

update

I'll be in Kuwait Apr 15 to 21.. packed my books and gym gear, but hope that someone else is in town to catch up with.

Dubai in July is still very probable. Any particular dates preferred ?
