Anyone interested? Games 3-4 of Division Series?

I wish I could make it out, but unfortunately I have a tough schedule that includes a visit to Philly, sadly! And then quickly back to see my sons games this Sunday!

And FWIW, tonight I am also somewhat conflicted. Should I watch the VP debate? Or see the Yankees?

Hmmm....

Cheyney, the guy who is apparently still on the Halliburton payroll, vs Edwards, an attorney who, in court, I understand, has pretended to be a child speaking to the jury from the womb - or something to that effect.

Sounds awfully tempting.

Let go Yankees! Lets go Yankees!

BTW, since I can't genuinely wish your Twins well, for obvious reasons, let me wish you the best of luck with the BoSox!

I hope you get a great group going with you! I'm going tomorrow night and am very happy that the game begins just after 7pm vs tonight's 8:19pm start.

I am Tivoing the first hour of the game, then the tivoing the debate, then the last hour of the game.

During all of them, I will be at the Vote for Change Springsteen- Fogerty- REM concert.

You can't have Tivo record the game and the debate simultaneously? If so then this makes my DVR from Time Warner Cable look decent.

I watched the game and used the Time Warner DVR to Tivo the debate. Watched the debate after the game. Rough day at work yesterday .

I skipped the middle innings of the game, and recorded a baseball-debate sandwich.

And the concert was awesome.

Springsteen, Fogerty, REM, AND Neil Young.

Fantastic.

Plus, when Fogerty came out, he announced the final score of the game and immediately went into the only song that should ever be played at a baseball game (other than take me out, SSB, etc.). "oh beat the drum, and touch them all.... the sun came out today."

Anyway, a grand total of ZERO FTers are coming to this game with me tonight. I have some extra tickets if people would like to go and are in town, you can send me an e-mail to [email protected].
Debate to be watched later.

If Gardenhire hadn't take out Grant Balfour who pitched two flawless innings, there might be a game 5. Such is why we love Joe Torre.
