Me, I'm just glad she said YES.
And it's the perfect reason to spend some miles.
I asked her at the DC St. Regis (10k SPG points), before dinner at Citronelle.
I have 2 F awards on hold using AA miles... LAX-PPT/PPT-AKL-SYD/SYD-MEL/MEL-LAX on TN and QF.. 290k AA miles.
Then I have a 5th night free award for a Horizon Overwater Bungalow at Bora Bora Nui... 176k SPG points.
I still need to book nights at the St. Regis Monarch Beach, Sheraton Tahiti, Intercontinental Beachcomber Tahiti, and Westin Melbourne...

well i got the good news from Gary a few days ago... but you know what... after she said "yes" he started planning his honeymoon trip... one for all of us to envy. Congrats Gary!!! ... hope you'll introduce us to the future Mrs. gleff one of these days ... or maybe not, then she'll see how crazy we all are

Wow, I just saw this thread mentioned in tonight's TalkMail.
Thanks to everyone for their good wishes. I'm truly lucky. And not just because I get to plan a great award trip -- she's beautiful, sweet, funny, not to mention a great chef.
