CHICAGO - Whirlyball FT Do

As we were entering the first stages of meat coma at Fogo de Chao the other day, MrFurious and I discussed the possiblility, no scratch that, THE NEED to have a Whirlyball Do.

I would like to suggest Saturday November 6.

What is Whirlyball you ask? for details see: http://www.whirlyball.com/

As I thought about this some more this evening, it became obvious to me that this needs to be a match against the FTers from another city/region. So who do we want to pick on?

...or you can put the alliances against each other * vs OneWorld (UA vs AA), etc

This looks fun, but I'm already travelling on the date you selected.

Sweet Willie,

I saw your question on a different thread about when is the best time to go to Venice and not get crowded out by tourists.

Actually, it is at the very moment you will be having your Whirlyball FT Do.

We will be in the middle of our big Venice Meet on that day (actually, most people will be arriving on the 18th or 19th and leaving around the 23rd or 24th.)

If the Chicago Do doesn't work out, you are very welcome to join us. In fact, I can see where playing Whirlyball from gondolas on the Grand Canal could start a whole new international craze!

Dallas has a WhirlyBall court too. Maybe we do the hub-to-hub challenge?!

I love it!

Unfortunately, I'll be sipping Margarita's in Cancun at the time.

If you come up with another date, let me know.

So let's get a consensus here:

Sat Nov 6 or Sat Nov 21?
Who is in?

Willie, do November 6, if for no other reason than to hear holmedown say, "Brilliant!"

Only thing you need to know up front is that MrFurious is going down!

Am arriving 5am on 30th October - flying out morning of the 6th November back to SAN to catch my flight back to London but never mind, can always try for another go in March if not.
