I turned 14 in June and I don't know, they say that I'm all lying and they question why I have an interest in this site. I just do, what else can I say. It's like saying to them why they like flying!I hope this is the right forum.

wrong forum.
sounds like an OMNI thread.
By the way, maybe your age wouldn't be such an issue if you didn't keep making it an issue:
My family and I (I'm only 14) will be going to Washington DC in February, for...
My whole family and I aren't frequent fliers (I'm only 14), but I really want to get my moms United or AAdvantage cards to a...
Do you really think I'm able to understand all these like q-points when I still don't get what q-points are? The reason I might not be able to understand all the advice is that I am only 14. Whenever..

It has more to do with your inconsistent stories, IMO. In one post you're 14; in others you have your own AA miles-earning credit card with which you spend $80K a year and fly to Hawaii for vacation on your own or with a friend. As I and many others have noted, something's fishy here.
FYI: Lots of teens have posted on FT and have been welcomed and treated quite well. If you truly are 14, perhaps if you took the time to read the answers many people have taken the time to provide you with, rather than posting the same questions over and over you would find a more welcoming reception.

Wouldn't you kind of think if I said I am 14 that it would be my parents creditcards that have all the miles... So I just can't say I'm going to Hawaii, and I have to specifically say I'm going with my entire family? Everyone on this site is... picky.

Look can you just stop picking on me. It's really making me mad. I came on this site because I enjoy flying. Maybe I ask a lot of questions where people who have like 10 million miles already have seen and know the answers too! I don't wanna spend 10 hours looking up for a stupid question that has already been posted. If you don't wanna answer it, then don't answer it! You guys are wasting your time picking on a 14 year old.. Geez you guys are all like 30 and still pick on younger kids.

Quick suggestion, BMW14x5: find something else to be mad about, like, for instance, world hunger, child abuse or genocide by megalomaniacal political leaders. Then put that anger to good use.
A lot of the people here are frequent business and leisure travelers, and, speaking solely for myself, don't mind a young person's questions...as long as they're not used as bait (which begins to smell like trolling...).
If you have a specific question or comment, by all means, have at it and ask in the proper forum; for general flying questions, airline gossip and backgrouond aviation trivia, there's always the U.S Aviation forum(s).

To the original poster, First, Welcome to FT.
2nd, Community Buzz is for get-togethers for FTers. You may or may not have known that, so this forum is not the appropriate forum for your original post. My guess is a moderator will move it - not sure where - maybe Omni?
3rd, I don't know you & haven't seen your other posts (and quite frankly too lazy/don't care to do a search), so I can't specifically comment on the responses re: your 14yrold status. Not cuz you're 14, just too lazy/don't care, so don't say it's an example of ignoring young.
Having said that & w/out knowing what's going on, perhaps not make a point of your age unless others also are, and why would they be unless you're pointing it out in the first place? letiole mentions something interesting though; i would give you the benefit of the doubt, but she mentions posts that don't quite match, so I don't know if you're 14 or not.
Anyway, read & learn, post & learn, ask & learn. That's what we all do - regardless of ANY of our ages. Cheers. Sharon...

I believe this is an OK thread for Community. BMW14x5 reached out to the entire FT Community because he believed he was misunderstood and picked-on. Different members replied with their points of view. I'll leave the thread open just in case there are any further points to be made. Ocn Vw 1K, Moderator.

Also, some general words of wisdom for any newbie:
The OP would be well advised to follow the above advice.
